Testimonials:
“Relaxed and spacious studio in the Marais neighbourhood, with cork floors, beautiful wooden ceiling beams and light streaming in through the windows. Whether you’ve the latest yoga gear or old jogging pants, everyone is welcome here. For around 16€ if you buy a 12 class card (2016), treat yourself to an hour and a half of superior quality yoga instruction with Michelle, owner and teacher, or one of her team. I have been going to Yoga Marais every week for around 4 years now. Having tried other classes in Paris, the things I appreciate most here are : the friendly, non-competitive and non-judgmental atmosphere, just come as you are ; the in-depth instruction and personal attention to each pupil – Michelle will explain the poses so that you can understand how each one helps your body and mind ; the luminous yet cosy studio that takes the weight off your shoulders as soon as you walk in the door. There is a large variety of classes to work your way through, from beginner to advanced, and times to fit around most schedules. A rare gem of kindness and calm in a busy city. Highly recommended.” Jenny

“Le Centre de Yoga du Marais est un lieu de haute vibration. Michelle est lumineuse et sait allier une connaissance précise des effets du yoga dans le corps avec son aspect holistique. L’atmosphère est simple et épurée, on vient chercher l’essentiel : à chaque classe son pas en avant pour devenir plus Soi.” Prudence
“The yoga center staff is rich, and there is somebody for your level, your availability, and your goal. I started my practice there few years ago and still find it very pleasant to challenge my body on a weekly basis. My favorite time is their monthly meditation session, a nice way to balance a busy urban lifestyle.” Lionel
“Michelle is not just your average yoga teacher. I have been taking her classes and participating in her retreats for over 10 years. She has undergone extensive training in medical yoga in addition to her yoga studies. She is a former dancer and really understands the body. I trust her teaching and advice and have learned a great deal from her over the years. She also leads yoga teacher training programs so she knows her stuff!” Una
Le centre de yoga du marais est pour moi le lieu précieux de retour au calme et d’énergie retrouvée. La transmission de Michelle et son équipe d’un yoga intégral est de grande qualité. C’est un vrai partage et un vrai repère! 🙂 Hélène

Gyms in Paris for the occasional Parisian - 56Paris Real Estate January 25, 2018
Great teacher, really progressed
I lived in Paris for three years and in that time attended Michelle’s classes at Centre de Yoga du Maris. A good yoga teacher can be hard to come by, I’m still searching in my new home city!; Michelle gives very good and clear instruction (in French and English) and keeps the class light and fun, as well as challenging. I found with Michelle that I slowed down my practice and this allowed me to take in more and get more out of it.
I learned to be more patient with myself through Michelle’s instruction and guidance, and through this my appreciation and understanding of yoga, and yoga for me importantly, was greatly enriched and improved.
There’s a friendly and open atmosphere at the Centre thanks to Michelle’s approach, with many loyal clients returning again and again, which is a good sign as well as being nice to share the practice with familiar faces. Orla Ni Mhàrtìn April 7, 2014
Great Neighborhood Feeling
This space is full of old charm and character, just across from Arts & Metiers. It feels very much like the sweet neighborhood studio it is. A lovely community of teachers and students here!
A Very Special Space
WOW! I recently visited Paris from the US and was very fortunate to discover Michelle and her Centre de Yoga du Marais. I attended one class and loved it so much that I signed up for a 3-hour workshop. The studio is decorated in peace complete with sunshine. A very positively charged environment. Michelle is an excellent instructor…clear communication in both French and English, graciously offering adjustments, making sure her students are comfortable. She really knows her stuff. The studio is easily accessible. I’m looking forward to returning when I’m back in Paris. Denise Marie, October 23, 2014
Wonderful yoga in Paris!
I’m so happy that I started to practice yoga when I did, and even more so that it was at the Centre de Yoga du Marais. As a teenager who plays sports, I became so much stronger once I started doing yoga. It is great cross-training for any sport and not only helps one tone one’s body, it also helps one tone one’s mind and emotions. Maia Hoffman, August 23, 2014
Just what I needed…
Michelle provided a comprehensive well-paced class that was exactly what I needed as a traveler. Class was in French, but she provided instruction in English as needed (she’s from the U.S, originally.) Michelle is very welcoming and a very pleasant person to deal with, along with being a fine yoga instructor. Jerry Gindele, May 27, 2014
Yoga at it’s best
This is a wonderful yoga center for all the key reasons: a palpable feeling of community, a truly knowledgeable staff, ability to connect with each student and amplify their practice. I learn something new and feel great after each visit. Namaste Cathy Nocquet, April 8, 2014

At Centre de Yoga du Marais you will learn in an atmosphere or respect and tradition. The yoga will grow from within yourself at your deepest level. You will be challenged not to perfect pose, but to start a fresh journey with each breath as part of your practice.
